“Those Things That Protrude” – Crocheting/Knitting marathon begins

It took over a month – so many colors were in backorder – but we finally received the first batch of Nylon cord spools (which, BTW, are all US made), so I began crocheting and knitting that will sure to continue for many months to come. The most exciting moment of any project, I think, is not when the project is completed as one would expect (because by then I would have been looking at it for so long that it usually is rather an anticlimax), but is when I am coming up with ideas and then when I sit in front of materials like these colorful cords. It reminds me of how exciting it was to open a new box of Pentel crayons when I was little. I still LOVE that waxy crayon smell…
