The Billboard series activates a pre-existing billboard located on the parking lot of the gallery at 1628 Wyoming Street and furthers 50/50’s mission of activating unused urban spaces.
Open calls for proposals occur six times annually. Each open call is specific to the respective exhibition on display. Proposals for 50/50’s Billboard Series are open to local and national participants of all ages and backgrounds. The participant’s proposal must respond to the given prompt which will change with each call.
Participants must submit a proposal by Monday, September 28th by midnight, and the selected proposal will debut on Friday, October 16th during the ‘Things To Be Read’ exhibition opening. For more information on 50/50 or to submit a proposal visit 5050KC.com
