In June of 2014, the Awards Ceremony for the fifth round of Rocket Grants projects was held at the beautiful Kansas City Museum in the historic Northeast neighborhood. The reception took place in the Corinthian Hall, a graceful building that is currently undergoing extensive rehabilitation, and the presentations and awards in the Carriage House nearby.

All ten winning projects made brief pecha kucha presentations about their proposals, and then previous Award recipients Jake Wagner (Public Service Announcement: KC Endangered 2013) and David Krom (aka De De DeVille) (First Lady? 2013) showed images and spoke about their recently completed projects (post archives: PSA: KC Endangered, First Lady?).

In addition to the slide show images seen above, all taken by Paul Garcellano, here is some video footage by Michelle Miller.
