Survivor Christine Mercy Is Someone, Not Something

In February 2012, an estimated 50,000 hens were left abandoned for two weeks without food at a factory farm near Modesto, California. Tens of thousands died. Farm Sanctuary helped rescue survivors and provided expert care to save as many animals as possible. Survivor Christine Mercy is now living happily in her forever home.
