6mm, color, optical sound; 11 minutes.
Themes and Variations for the Naked Eye borrows objects from the still life and transforms them through the use of the extreme close-up. A curious character evokes sensuality through touch, taking the audience through excavations of a series of bodies exploring the plastic potential of different subjectiles via confrontation with flesh and pulp.

Ahimsa is a Sanskrit word which means “ no harm” or “no violence”, but as a philosophy it means much more. It is the philosophy by which Ghandi led his life. In this film we journey to the Wilderness Ranch, a farm animal sanctuary in Loveland, Colorado, and meet people who describe their path to Ahimsa and how it affects every choice they make in their life- what to eat, what to wear, how to treat all life around them: choices that we all make and that, whether we realize it or not, affect this world in significant and profound ways.
