What exactly is that urban feel everyone is talking about?
Civilian Stories presents Project: Process by Jessica Borusky.
Project:Process! is a two-channel video installation that personifies language used in contemporary urban development and planning via performance-for-video. Moreover, the installation designs a relationship between the subject, camera, and audience as a potential format in unpacking bureaucratic systems connecting live/work space in downtown Kansas City or, arguably, in any central business district.
Project Process! is the first exhibition in the Civilian series at Front/Space, a prelude to the release of The Civilian, a journal for art, literature, and civics. Throughout spring and summer, Front/Space will continue to host this series of exhibitions critical to accounting for the forces that characterize the relationships between art, literature, government, and the public.
Join us at Front/Space, 217 W. 18th St., this Friday, March 7th 6-9PM for our opening reception!
