The program will include Liberian poetry, performance art, live and recorded music, video clips, fashion, dance and visual art. Following the presentations you can also sample a selection of West African cuisine.
Vox Narro pairs writers and immigrant groups for a discovery and discussion of the cultural traditions and stories of immigrant groups. Previous engagements have paired team members with the Asian Indian, Bhutanese, Persian, Palestinian, Vietnamese and Kurdish communities in Kansas City.
